Financial Management Policy

This Financial Management Policy applies to FA Management Ltd, an accounting and tax advisory company. The purpose of this policy is to ensure accurate financial reporting, responsible financial management, compliance with UK regulations, and protection of company assets.

Purpose

FA Management Ltd is committed to maintaining effective financial controls, transparent accounting practices, and compliance with all tax and legal obligations.

Authority

The Directors of FA Management Ltd are ultimately responsible for the financial management of the company. The Managing Director and Finance Manager are authorised to oversee daily financial operations, approve payments, maintain accounting records, and supervise financial staff and consultants.

Board Authority

No employee or contractor may enter into any financial agreement on behalf of FA Management Ltd without approval from the Directors.

Signed Contracts

All contracts, service agreements, and financial commitments must be signed by an authorised Director of FA Management Ltd.

Division of Duties and Responsibilities

Financial responsibilities shall be divided between authorised personnel to ensure proper internal controls, accountability, and fraud prevention.

Bank Accounts

All company bank accounts must be approved by the Directors. Bank reconciliations shall be completed monthly by authorised finance staff who do not have sole signing authority.

Receipts and Deposits

All client payments and company income must be recorded promptly and deposited into the company bank account within five working days. Proper supporting documentation must be maintained for all receipts and transactions.

Expense Approvals

All expenses must be supported by invoices or receipts. Payments above £5,000 require approval from at least one Director.

Conflict of Interest

Directors, employees, and contractors of FA Management Ltd must avoid any personal or business interests that could conflict with their duties to the company.
